The Alma is one of Louis Vuitton's foundational models. Its half-moon silhouette, conceived in 1934 by Gaston-Louis Vuitton, has remained almost unchanged since then — an Art Deco architecture that adapts to all materials without ever losing its character. In Chocolate Epi leather, it achieves a level of understated refinement that is hard to match: the deep brown of the color plays with the reflections of the undulating vertical grain to create a living and changing surface depending on the light. Chocolate is one of the least common Epi colors on the second-hand market — it was produced for short periods, which makes it significantly rarer today than black or red.
