Dessiné en 1896 par Georges Vuitton, fils du fondateur, le Monogram Louis Vuitton est né d'une volonté de protéger les malles de la maison contre les contrefaçons de plus en plus nombreuses. Georges y déploie un vocabulaire graphique inspiré des motifs japonais alors très en vogue en Europe : le trilobe, le quadrilobe, la fleur à quatre pétales et les initiales entrelacées LV. Plus d'un siècle plus tard, ces mêmes fleurs continuent d'irriguer toute la création de la maison, réinterprétées inlassablement en cuir, en métal, en émail, en résine. Ce bijou de sac en est une déclinaison particulièrement raffinée : une composition ajourée de fleurs et quadrilobes en métal doré, rehaussée d'une constellation de billes métalliques qui accrochent la lumière à chaque mouvement. Livré avec son mousqueton signé Louis Vuitton, il se prête à tous les usages — glissé à l'anneau d'un sac pour l'habiller instantanément, accroché à un trousseau de clés pour ne plus jamais l'égarer, ou porté au passant d'un jean façon détail bijou.
