A Céline Macadam canvas bucket bag with its matching pouch — the house's monogram canvas in its most vintage and sought-after version today. Drawstring bucket silhouette, adjustable shoulder strap, caramel leather trim. A complete, rare, and very well-preserved set.

The Macadam canvas is Céline's historic monogram — a geometric pattern of interlocking diamonds developed in the 1970s, long before the house became the symbol of Parisian minimalism under Phoebe Philo. This is the Céline of yesteryear — that of the great years of French leather goods, produced in Italy, with carefully crafted natural leather trim and solid gold-tone hardware. Today, with the strong return of vintage monograms across all brands, Céline's Macadam canvas is one of the most requested pieces on the secondary market — and among the most difficult to find in good condition.

This bucket bag is in good overall condition. The Macadam coated canvas is clean, with no major flaws. The corners show slight rubbing from use, and the natural leather has developed a slight, even patina. The interior is clean with light traces of prior use. The gold-tone hardware is in good condition. Sold with the matching Macadam pouch and Rarr Vintage dustbag. Made in Italy.
