This Chloé Paraty Medium in its rosewood shade is the perfect spring bag — this warm rosy nude goes with everything and brightens any look, carried by hand with a beige trench coat, on the shoulder with a linen dress, or crossbody for hands-free city days. Three ways to wear it, one color that gets the job done.
The Paraty was launched in 2008 by Hannah MacGibbon at Chloé and became one of the house's most coveted bags in a few seasons — with the same ability to generate desire as the Paddington before it. Its grained calfskin, deliberately cut thin to remain lightweight, its characteristic brass hardware — twisted rings, stirrups, swing — and its semi-structured trapezoidal silhouette that deforms slightly over time to embrace the life of its wearer: this is what makes the Paraty signature. Officially discontinued, the Paraty is becoming scarcer on the secondary market — and rosewood copies, one of the most flattering and sought-after colors in the range, are particularly rare.
This Medium size (36 × 25 × 8 cm) is the most versatile in the Paraty line — larger than the Small to effortlessly swallow a notebook, Kindle, pouch, and continental wallet, but not so cumbersome that it loses its lightness when carried.
