The Looping is one of the most original pieces ever produced by Louis Vuitton. Its rigid semi-circular Vachetta leather handle — unique in the entire catalog of the house — gives it an instantly identifiable look and a way of being carried on the arm that is truly its signature. The Monogram canvas perfectly embraces this soft crescent shape. Made in France in 2001, this example has developed a lovely caramel patina on the handle — the result of twenty-five years of careful wear. The beige Alcantara interior, with its two organized pockets, is in excellent condition. The Looping model has been discontinued from the current catalog of the house, which makes it an increasingly sought-after piece by lovers of vintage Louis Vuitton.
