A 1995 Louis Vuitton Noé MM · Monogram canvas, patinated vachetta leather, drawstring · one of the house's oldest bags, with the patina of half a century of life.

The Noé was created in 1932 from a special order: a champagne client wanted a bag capable of carrying five bottles of champagne — four upright, one lying down. Gaston-Louis Vuitton then designed this flat-bottomed bucket bag, closed with a leather drawstring. The shape is so perfect, so functional, that it has practically not changed since. The Noé MM is the intermediate size in the range — more compact than the Grand Noé, more generous than the Petit Noé — and one of the most versatile for everyday use. In Monogram canvas and natural vachetta leather, it develops over time a patina that new pieces would take years to acquire.

This item bears the date code AR, attesting to its manufacture in 1995. Clean Monogram canvas with no flaws. Natural vachetta leather with beautiful even patina. Signs of age are localized and documented: slight rubbing on the drawstring and upper trim, slightly discolored and worn bottom, patina on the hardware and rivet — all visible in the photos, consistent with 30 years of existence. Clean single compartment interior. Grade C honestly reflects these age marks on the leather, hiding nothing. Comes with RARR Vintage dustbag and authenticity certificate.
