The Tulum is one of the most unique models in Louis Vuitton's catalog from the 2000s. Named after the Mayan city in Yucatán, it stands out with a half-moon silhouette that immediately differentiates it from the rectangular or trapezoidal shapes that dominate the Monogram range. Its round gold-tone twist-lock clasp, centered on the front, and its Vachetta piping that perfectly follows the curve of the bag give it a rare architectural presence. Made in France in 2006, this piece has developed a beautiful golden caramel Vachetta patina on all the trimmings — handle, piping, straps — a sign of a bag regularly used and carefully maintained for nearly twenty years.
