Le Macadam est né dans les années 1970, quand Céline décline en toile enduite le motif issu du blason Triomphe — cette chaîne inspirée des arceaux de l'Arc de Triomphe, à deux pas duquel la maison avait sa boutique. Répété à l'infini sur un fond brun profond, il donne un imprimé graphique et sobre, moins bavard que la plupart des monogrammes de son époque. C'est cette retenue qui fait aujourd'hui le charme des Céline vintage : une signature nette, reconnaissable pour qui sait, discrète pour les autres.

Ce modèle en donne une version besace de petit format, celle qu'on emporte partout. Un rabat arrondi qui couvre toute la façade, une patte de cuir centrale portant un écusson frappé à chaud du logo Céline Paris, et une boucle dorée signée Céline en bas de la patte. Cette boucle est décorative : c'est un bouton pression qui assure la fermeture, et le sac s'ouvre donc d'une seule main, sans rien à défaire. L'allure du harnachement sellier, sans la contrainte du quotidien.

La bandoulière, ajustable jusqu'à environ 110 cm, permet de le porter à l'épaule ou en crossbody, mains libres. À l'intérieur, deux compartiments séparés et une poche zippée organisent un volume qui reçoit sans peine un téléphone, un portefeuille compact, un rouge à lèvres, des clés et un passeport. Un sac de ville comme de voyage, qui tient l'essentiel sans jamais peser. Fabriqué en Italie, numéro de série DM93*.

Grade B- — une pièce vécue, décrite sans détour. La toile enduite est propre et sans défauts. Les biais en cuir présentent de légers frottements, la bandoulière également, et le plaquage de la bijouterie est estompé : ces trois points sont documentés en photos.
