Hubert de Givenchy always designed his accessories as a natural extension of clothing — never ostentatious, always present. In the 1980s, Givenchy jewelry distinguished itself with a sculptural yet textile approach: braided chains, tassels, and moving terminations were recurring signatures that gave metal the fluidity of fabric. The tassel, borrowed from haute couture passementerie, becomes a central motif here — noble, architectural, both classic and resolutely modern.

Gold-plated braided chain, 55 to 60 cm adjustable length, ending in a double golden tassel. Givenchy hallmark tag near the clasp. Excellent vintage condition — slight gentle signs of wear consistent with age, no major flaws. Can be worn as a single sautoir or doubled for a couture layering effect.
