Le City est le sac emblématique de Balenciaga, et la version Metallic Edge l'habille de métal doré : la plaque et les coins sont cerclés, les clous assortis. Celui-ci, en cuir de chèvre grainé gris foncé, date de la saison printemps-été 2017. Il se ferme par un zip à double curseur et se porte à la main ou à l'épaule avec sa bandoulière amovible ; il ne se porte pas en travers du corps.

Il compte une poche zippée sur le devant, une poche zippée à l'intérieur et son miroir, avec une doublure en coton noir. Il accueille un ordinateur 13 pouces, une trousse cosmétique, un agenda, un portefeuille compagnon, un téléphone et un étui à lunettes.
