Fendi launched its watches in the late 1980s, relying on Swiss movements. The Roman house applied the same logic to them as to its bags: the logo is not placed on the object, it becomes its structure. The Orologi line — a name that simply means "watches" in Italian — brings together the house's first watchmaking references, of which this 750L is one of the most characteristic models.
The FF signature operates on two levels here, which constitutes the subtlety of the piece. On the dial, first: a deep black entirely textured with the Zucca pattern, where the two interlaced Fs cover the surface in filigree, barely visible depending on the angle of the light. Then on the bracelet: the central links are not simple steel plates, but are cut in the shape of the interlaced FF, alternating with solid links. You read the monogram twice — once recessed in the material of the dial, once as a structural part of the watch bracelet.
The 2.5 cm round case maintains a feminine and discreet look, with its applied baton indices and the FENDI signature in the center. The whole piece is in stainless steel, Swiss Made, which gives the item a black and steel contrast that is more interesting than the house's all-gold models. The bracelet measures 16 cm and will fit a wrist up to 17.5 cm. Important note: the battery has been recently replaced, the watch is in working order and ready to be worn upon receipt.
Good overall condition, grade B — slight signs of prior use, micro-scratches from wear on the case and bracelet, clean dial. No major defects to report, the whole condition is documented in photos. Sold with its box, protective cushion, and RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity.
