The intrecciato—a weaving of fine leather strips—has been the signature of Bottega Veneta since the 1960s, born from a technical constraint that became an emblem. Upon taking on the role of Artistic Director in 2018, Daniel Lee radically enlarged it: the strips became wide bands, the pattern readable from a distance, and the weave ceased to be mere decoration to become the very structure of the bag. It is this maxi intrecciato that we find here.
The Arco draws from this a miniature tote silhouette with very clean lines: two round handles, a top opening closed by a simple tie knotted inside, and no lining—the woven leather speaks for itself. The bag comes with its own detachable zipped pouch, embossed with the brand's name, and its 110 cm shoulder strap which allows for crossbody wear. At 23 cm, it fits a phone, a card holder, AirPods, keys, and a lipstick.
Good overall condition, Grade B—the bag shows light signs of prior use, visible in the photos, with no major flaws. The unlined interior is in good condition with slight signs of wear. Delivered in careful RARR Vintage packaging, with its pouch, shoulder strap, dustbag, RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity, and Entrupy certificate of authenticity.
