A Givenchy long necklace from the late 1980s – early 1990s · thick gold chain, large openwork star pendant, 87 cm of presence. French couture jewelry at its most assertive.

Hubert de Givenchy founded his house in 1952 and quickly established a structured, sculptural elegance, far from any frivolity. The house's jewelry followed this line — pieces with volume, presence, and assumed geometry. In the late 1980s, Givenchy, like other major Parisian houses, produced high-quality costume jewelry, gold-plated, carefully crafted, often featuring celestial or geometric motifs that reflected the spirit of the time. These pieces are now among the most sought-after in the vintage couture market.

This long necklace combines a thick gold-plated chain with a large openwork star pendant of approximately 7.5 cm, with an organic and graphic shape. The 87 cm length allows it to fall naturally on the chest, with an immediate presence. Lobster clasp closure with a discreet Givenchy hallmark. Good vintage condition — light signs of wear and slight age-related oxidation, visible in the photos, which give the piece its authentic patina without affecting its worn appearance.
