Moschino is the fashion house that put language onto clothing. Franco Moschino, founder in 1983, spent his career subverting the codes of Italian luxury with printed slogans, parodied logos, and messages that gently mocked the industry he worked in. While his Milanese peers were embroidering monograms, he was writing sentences.

These earrings apply that principle to jewelry. A simple circular medallion in gold-tone metal, with no stones or ornaments, features the engraved slogan "Moschino Be Good." The entire piece resides in this contrast: the most classic form possible—the gold disc, an eternal earring shape—and a message that shifts the conversation. You read the jewelry before you look at it.

The result is more wearable than one might think. The graphic is sharp, minimalist, and uncluttered: these earrings work just as well with jeans and a plain sweater as they do with an evening outfit, adding a welcome touch of irony.
