Créé par Laurence Bourthoumieux — l'artiste connue sous le pseudonyme Toutsy — le carré « Parures des Sables » est une invitation au voyage au cœur du désert. Il déploie un inventaire fascinant de bijoux inspirés de l'artisanat touareg, berbère et éthiopien : croix d'Agadez, colliers et pendentifs d'argent, émaux de Kabylie, perles d'ambre. Ces parures, symboles de protection, d'amour et de fécondité, sont traitées avec une précision d'orfèvre typique du trait de l'artiste.

Ici décliné dans un coloris chaud et recherché — fond brun profond, éclats bronze et orange, argent lumineux des bijoux — ce carré se prête à toutes les envies. Autour du cou, noué à la taille, glissé dans les cheveux ou attaché à l'anse d'un sac, il apporte la touche graphique et racée qui fait la signature du carré Hermès.
