Un collier Yves Saint Laurent en métal plaqué or · pendentif rond au logo YSL cerclé de strass transparents · chaîne ajustable de 38 à 43 cm · pendentif 1,8 cm · poinçons au fermoir et au dos du pendentif · grade B.

Le logo YSL est l'un des rares monogrammes de mode qui tienne debout comme un dessin autonome. Il est né en 1961 sous la main d'A.M. Cassandre, affichiste avant d'être graphiste de maison, qui entrelace les trois initiales dans une composition verticale d'une lisibilité parfaite. Soixante ans plus tard, on le reconnaît à un centimètre. C'est cette économie de moyens qui fait sa force — et qui explique qu'il fonctionne aussi bien sur un bijou minuscule que sur une affiche.

Ce collier en donne une lecture délibérément simple. Un médaillon rond de 1,8 cm, où le monogramme doré se détache en relief sur un fond argenté texturé, entouré d'une couronne de strass transparents sertis un à un. Le jeu bicolore — l'or du logo, l'argent du fond, l'éclat des pierres — fait tout l'intérêt de la pièce : elle s'accorde avec des bijoux dorés comme argentés, ce qui est rare. Aucun strass ne manque.

La chaîne, fine et souple, est ajustable de 38 à 43 cm : réglée court, le pendentif se pose à la base du cou ; allongée, il tombe juste sous la clavicule. Deux façons de le porter selon le décolleté ou les superpositions. Les poinçons de la maison sont présents au niveau du fermoir et au dos du pendentif.
