Under the artistic direction of Karl Lagerfeld, the house of Chanel regularly allowed itself pop and playful touches in its Spring-Summer collections, where couture vocabulary — CCs, camellias, chains — crossed paths with more whimsical motifs: hearts, ice creams, macarons, seashells, daisies. This scarf comes from this gourmet and summery vein, featuring macarons and small cakes drawn with freehand lines and a watercolor effect, punctuated by pastel CC logos scattered on the background, all on a very light cotton voile. The palette — fresh seafoam green enhanced with yellow, orange, pink, and dusty blue — is characteristic of the house's mid-season collections, reminiscent of Italian ice creams and cafe terraces.
