Mahina leather is one of the fashion house's most beautiful ideas: rather than printing the Monogram, Louis Vuitton perforates it. The pattern is literally cut out of a soft, grained calfskin, so that it only appears in relief and shadow, playing with the light. The result is a subtle, almost confidential Monogram that is only truly legible from a short distance.
The Muria adopts this spirit in a bucket bag silhouette, closed with a leather drawstring. Its signature is the hand-braided handle, thick and sculptural, which contrasts with the suppleness of the bag's body. This handle can be detached and replaced by an adjustable shoulder strap, allowing the piece to transition from hand-carry to crossbody in seconds.
The Galet color — a grayish beige, warm without being golden — is arguably the most versatile in the Mahina range. Paired with silver-tone hardware, it creates a sober and modern look, far from the exuberance of Monogram canvas. The interior is spacious and lined, with a central zippered pocket that structures the volume and keeps the bag from becoming a bottomless pit. The padlock, clochette, and nametag complete the piece.
