La Malice est l'une de ces montres où l'horlogerie passe après le bijou. Le boîtier y est réduit à un petit disque d'acier, presque discret, et toute la personnalité de la pièce se joue dans le bracelet : une succession de maillons plats ajourés en forme de « D », reliés par des anneaux, qui donnent à l'ensemble le rythme et la souplesse d'une gourmette. On ne regarde pas d'abord l'heure — on voit une chaîne d'acier au poignet, et l'heure vient ensuite.

Cette version est déclinée en acier inoxydable avec un cadran noir profond, ponctué d'index bâtons appliqués et d'un chiffre 12, signé Christian Dior Paris. La mention Swiss Made figure au bas du cadran, et le fond de boîtier porte la référence CD022110 ainsi que les mentions D1D3A et Water Resistant. Le contraste entre l'acier clair et le noir du cadran fait toute la sobriété de la pièce : elle se porte aussi bien avec du noir qu'avec de l'argent ou de l'or.

Le bracelet mesure 16,5 cm de longueur totale et conviendra à un poignet allant jusqu'à 16 cm environ. La montre est en état de marche et prête à être portée.
